Fast-dissolved Sodium Silicate is also called sodium silicate hydrate. It is a kind of uniformed white powder, which is well fast-dissolved and convenient for transportation, store and use, especially applicable for mechanized and automated operations. It is widely used in the areas of metallurgy, electricity power, petrol-chemical industry and construction materials. The applications include amorphous refractory materials, adhesives, industry detergent, soap manufacturing, acid-resistant cement, fast drier and reinforcement in the areas of fine ceramic industry and precise casting industry.

The molecular formula of fast-dissolved sodium silicate is Na2O·mSiO2·nH2O and its molecular weight is 280-350. Compared with mechanically smashed non-hydrate sodium silicate powder, the fast-dissolved sodium silicate has superior properties, such as high dissolved speed and high degree of purity. Fast-dissolved sodium silicate is a product of fine chemical industry. It is derived from dry-processed(Glaubers salt method or pure alkali method) water glass(sodium silicate).The refining processing includes filtration, modulus adjustment and spray drying.
